“I thank my God every time I remember you.”
Philippians 1:3
This scripture is on my daughter Tess’ stone. I do thank God every time I remember Tess and her big sister Katie Ann, my angel and butterfly. Gone too soon, but I know I will see them again.
I know I said that I would avoid seriousness as much as possible, but with today being Easter and we remember the ultimate sacrifice God made by sending his son Jesus to die on the cross, yet rise from death so that we as believers will be forgiven of our sins and that when our time comes, we will have a place in his eternal kingdom. I know that one day I will receive my explanation as to why my girls were taken from me at such young ages, and I will understand.
Then it’s off to play with them and what a wonderful day that will be!
Happy Easter everyone. Thanks for reading.
What an uplifting message! Yes, we have talked of this many times and someday we will both realize why and then on we go to enjoy good times with those that have been waiting for us. Won’t we have a wonderful time?
I have something that I think of and repeat so many times when I think of dear, dear friends, especially my ornery boy Paul. It is “Every time I think of you I thank God for your life.”
Happy Easter! I love you!
Amen!
What a wonderful hope we have through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hope, not as in “wishful thinking” but as “guaranteed expectation”. We do not envy those who face deaths of loved ones or their own death without this glorious promise.
